CLASH OF CONTINENTS
On June 24, 25 and 26, 2023, we had the opportunity to play a tournament against American high school teams.
The Elite Sports Academy players were divided into 3 different teams.
It should be noted that the different teams performed very well, with one of them winning the tournament championship. The best part of the event was the good friendship that the players established with the North American players, taking the opportunity to learn American basketball concepts and with whom they exchanged shirts.
SOUL BASKETBALL INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT
On June 24 and 25, 2022, a group of players born between 2007 and 2006 participated in the international Soul Basketball tournament held in the town of El Papiol.
All the players had a very outstanding performance, offering a great variety of offensive resources and defensive skills.
CAMPUS ELITE-LLORET 2021
Bàsquet Lloret and Elite Basketball Academy join forces to create the first high-performance campus.
The main focus will be on deepening the individual technical and tactical competence of the players.
The work methodology consisted of small groups to give maximum attention to the player in the competition worked on.
Bases were also given for self-training, injury prevention and physical improvement.
During the afternoons, competitive activities were worked on.
The players were also trained in the regulations and issues of the NCAA.
This campus was intended for high-performance players from the 2006, 2005 and 2004 generations.
TRYOUTS VALENCIA
Last July we participated in the Tryouts organized by RO Eventos in which we had the opportunity to play in front of the Florida International University coach.
HOLY WEEK TECHNIQUES
On weekdays, Holy Monday the 29th, Tuesday the 30th and Wednesday the 31st. Improvement work was carried out by positions. Bases, Forwards and Centers, for 2h30', trained based on Operation (linking individual technique to tactical situations of the game), to improve their game.
Bases: 1st step in direct blocking. Resolve the direct block with 4 dribbles (Reject, Enter the block, Read the Defense, Finish).
Eaves: Frequency of steps in penetration (Bounce in the 3rd step towards the Hoop). Options with the directions of the steps and the boat. Balance in shooting.
Pivots: Set the one close to the baseline as the pivot foot. Balance in shooting. Shooting Line.
CHRISTMAS TECHNIQUES
During the Christmas holidays we carried out a technical training in Sabadell. Unfortunately, regional and community confinements did not allow it to be extended to all players. Even so, those who had the opportunity to attend worked hard in their continuous improvement process.
ONLINE TRAINING
COVID-19 has interrupted many of the projects that we had prepared for the players, even so, we wanted to continue offering the best service by organizing various telematic training sessions.
TECHNOLOGIES IN MADRID
Our presence in Madrid has been intensified with the implementation of specific techniques to improve the individual 1x1 technique, spaces and position on the court and shooting of our players. For this we have the collaboration of the Pin Down company (technization in December) and especially with the Alcobendas Basketball Club, with which we have carried out 6 technifications with excellent results. Both the individual and collective work were very well planned and we have achieved the objectives that we had set for ourselves at the beginning of the season.
